ENC In-Depth Podcast (EaP Series): EU-Russia relations and its impact on EaP countries
This ENC In-Depth podcast is dedicated to EU-Russia relations, focusing on the latter’s realpolitik Foreign Policy approach considered by many to be driven by the interests of the state; its impact on EaP countries and on the EU’s relation with the EaP countries; and the different type of response needed by the EU to restore its role as a normative power and demonstrating integrity, unity and consistency.
The debate is part of the ENC In-depth podcast discussions which brings together experts and academics to assess developments in the Eastern Partnership area in the fields of Security, Foreign Policy, Economy, Democracy and Education.
The discussion was moderated by Andreas Marazis, ENC Head of Research for Eastern Europe & Central Asia, and features the comments and insights of Dr. Leila Alieva, affiliate at the Russian and East European Studies department at the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies and ENC Academic Council Member; and Tony van der Togt, Senior Research Associate at Clingendael Institute in the Netherlands.
