The untapped potential of EU-NATO cooperation

EU-NATO cooperation is a good framework for bringing Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and others, closer to the Alliance, and improving their security especially in the fields of cyber security and strategic communication.

Andreas Marazis is the ENC Head Researcher for Eastern Europe and Central Asia and is making occasional media appearances to share his expert views on issues, mostly related to developments in the EaP countries and in Central Asia. In this present article, he argues that there is potential of an increased EU-NATO cooperation in relation to Ukraine in the fields of cyber security and strategic communication if interagency coordination improves and a concrete strategy is in place. His opinion piece (op-ed) on the subject was published online on EurActiv.
